Go Pink for the Cure

Friday October 7, HMG encourages all to wear pink in support of Passionately Pink for the Cure. As part of this event, Go Pink for the Cure mammography screenings will be taking place at the Southwest Church of Christ, located behind the YMCA. Free mammograms will be given to uninsured women that qualify. HMG physicians will also be on site to perform breast exams prior to mammograms.

To qualify for a mammogram women must meet the following criteria:

• Women between the ages 35-40 qualify for one baseline screening mammogram.
• Women ages 40 and up should receive annual screenings.
• Women with no unusual breast symptoms, breast implants, or prior history of breast cancer qualify.
• It must be at least one full year since last mammogram screening.
