assistant to work in a busy neurosurgical practice in Jonesboro, AR. This individual will primarily work with Ricardo Cortez, M.D., but will work to a lesser degree with the two other neurosurgeons in the group. PA will assist the physician with the diagnosis and management of a diverse variety of patients with neurosurgical disease in the clinic, ER and pre- and post- operative settings. The new hire will also be trained to perform invasive neurosurgical procedures and function as a fire assistant in the OR. Neurosurgeons in this practice perform both spine and cranial surgery.
