The HMG Health & Fitness Expo Family Fit 5K Run & Walk sponsored by Associated Radiologists will be Saturday, April 10th starting promptly at 8:00 AM. Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive early for packet and chip pickup.

This fast and fun 5K runs through the campus of Arkansas State University and finishes inside the Convocation Center in the middle of the HMG Health & Fitness Expo. A Kids' Race will be held right after the 5K with a finish inside the Convocation Center as well. Imagine the thrill running up into a building full of people to cross the finish line! The fun atmosphere includes music, breakfast and great t-shirts and awards. Click here to register.

Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $20.00 for mail in entry. Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on April 1, 2010. Each participant that pre-registers online is guaranteed a T-shirt and race goody bag. Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM inside the Blue entrance of the Convocation Center. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.

Part of the Ridge Rider Athletic Club's Running & Walking series, tropihies will be awarded to the first through fifth overall male and female runners, to the top three male and female masters runners (40+) and to the first, second and third male and female runners in the following age groups: under 9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64 and over 65. Trophies will be awarded to the first through fifth male and female walkers to finish. There will be no age group awards for walkers. The Awards Ceremony will be inside the convocation center on stage at 10:00 am or as soon as the last participant finishes.

Points will also be awarded in the RRAC Running & Walking Series. This race is ChampionChip timed by Stearns Race Timimg and is applying for USTF Course Certification.
